The Salisbury (North Carolina) VA Medical Center is apparently helping other hospitals in the VA’s Mid-Atlantic Health Care Network catch up on their C&P Exams.

The VA Medical Center is using a technique they call a “blitz” – setting aside time from general care appointments for C&P exams.

A few weeks ago, we posted a blog entry about the case of Henderson v. Shinseki.

On March 1, 2011, the U.S. Supreme Court issued its ruling in this Veteran’s benefits claim. More will be posted on this decision later, but in a nutshell, the Supreme Court held that veterans who miss the 120-day deadline are not automatically disqualified from filing an appeal with the CAVC.
