A new kind of Attorney Bio.

Will the Attig Law Firm return my calls and emails?

Yes .

The Attig Law Firm gets hundreds of calls and emails every week.

The Team here at "ALF" staff works with requests for consultation (email and phone) and with existing clients to make sure all of these calls and emails are handled as efficiently as possible.

Until earlier this year, "ALF" was one attorney: kicking butt and taking names.

This past Spring, Chris began assembling a team to help turn his Vision into Reality: the Attig Law Firm will Change the Way that Veterans Experience the VA Claims Process.

You want  your call or email returned as soon as possible - so our TARGET GOAL is to get back to you within 48 business hours.

That's a high bar to clear.

Its going to take  time to get there, but the "ALF" Team is committed to refining our processes until 100% of your calls or emails are answered within 48 hours.

Are you a Asshole Jerk?

Depends on who you ask.

If you ask a certain Waco VA Decision Review Officer, she'll probably say "yes".    Others think I leave golden footprints in the sand.

Those are the extremes. Most people's impressions fall somewhere in the middle.

Here's what I know:   I'm honest and candid.  If you need a quick brain - or  a sharp tongue - you are in the right place.  Loyalty to  Family, Clients, Employees, Veterans and Friends is one of  core values of the "ALF" Team.

Want to find out if I'm an asshole jerk? Mess with one of those people.

Do I Have Experience Doing Exactly What you need?

Until you say what you need, there is no way to know.

These are areas of Veteran's Benefits that are a "strong suit" of the Attig Law Firm:

  • Post-denial representation before VA Regional Offices, the Board of Veterans Appeals (BVA) and the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC).
  • Proving Service-Connection theories in original, direct, secondary, presumptive and aggravation appeals
  • Representation Veterans' Surviving Spouses and Children in DIC and Accrued Benefits appeals.
  • Representing Veterans who served in peacetime or combat in WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Shield/Storm/Fox, OIF, OEF, as well as Special Forces operators from Vietnam to the present.
  • Proving up service connection for a variety of medical conditions: back injuries, knee/elbow/joints, Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD), Military Sexual Trauma, Traumatic Brain Injury, ALS (including PLS and PMA), Parkinson's, Agent Orange related conditions for Thailand, Korean DMZ, Vietnam, Brown Water Navy), & I love a Nehmer Effective Date appeal.

If your situation/condition isn't on that list - don't worry.  Contact us anyway. If the "ALF" Team can't help, we'll try to get you referred to an another attorney.

One way that the Attig Law Firm is going to make its Vision a reality is to get More Information, and More Power, in More Ways, to More Veterans.

What kind of work are you really  good at?

On a personal level, I'm really good at pouring a Pint of Guinness, and I'm fairly accurate with a .30-06 (although my uncle might call "BS" on that).

On a professional level, here are skill-sets that are important for an attorney to have when battling the VA:

  • Finding and analyzing patterns from massive amounts of data and information
  • Using that analysis to streamline complex work,
  • Building work-flows with manageable, understandable, and scalable steps.
  • Teaching those workflows to other folks.

Each attorney and Team Member that joins the "ALF" Team will have these core skill-sets - at a minimum.

The "ALF" Team will not stop working until we  make decisions whether or not to offer consultations and representation to Veterans faster and better than any other law firm out there.
