Attig Law represents small businesses at the following stages of development:

Exploratory Phase

You have a great business idea, but the task of bringing it to life seems daunting and complicated. Attig Law will visit with you for up to 4 hours, to explore all of your concerns, including business planning, structure and capitalization options, regulatory and liability concerns, or any other unique concerns. The Firm charges a fixed fee of $400 for this session. We will provide you with literature that will help guide you in the common legal needs of small businesses. While you don’t have to retain our Firm when you start your business, if you do, we’ll give you a $400 discount off future small-business services (excluding litigation).

Startup Phase

When you are ready to start your venture, the Attig Law Firm can provide all the legal support you need to form your business entity. We can draft articles of incorporation, partnership or membership agreements, assist you in seeking startup capital, prepare and review vendor contracts and other business documents, and prepare applications and interview questionnaires for employees. Our fee for this service is a fixed monthly fee, which we negotiate after consideration of your legal goals, legal needs and most importantly, your legal budget.

Growing your Business

After that first year of business, the legal needs of a small business are in constant flux and often unpredictable. The Firm can serve as outside General Counsel, and will keep an eye on the legal health of your venture, alert you to areas of potential legal risk, prepare a roadmap to help you prioritize and address your legal needs, and remain available to consult on the legal ramifications of changes you need to make to your day-to-day operations. The fee for this service is a fixed monthly fee, which we negotiate based after consideration of your legal goals, legal needs and most importantly, your legal budget.

Maintaining an Established Business

Typically, established and profitable businesses have known and predictable legal needs; the problem is they don’t have known and predictable legal bills. Attig Law helps businesses at this stage to prioritize and organize legal services, so that they can be delivered more efficiently to the business. The result is often a dramatic reduction in legal fees. The fee for these services are determined by how long it will take to accomplish them; the Firm offers half-day, daily and weekly rates that are a substantially lower than the rates of traditional hourly attorneys. In many cases, Attig Law can work on-site at your business.

Independent Contractor Packages

The key to success as an Independent Contractor is being able to efficiently deliver a consistently high-quality product and service. To do so, you need a low-maintenance, low-cost legal structure that allows you to uniformly accomplish each project with minimal exposure to liability. For a fixed one-time fee, the Attig Law Firm designs and builds the legal framework and tools you will need. For a low monthly fee, we remain a phone-call away to service all of your non-litigation legal needs.

Miscellaneous or Unbundled Services

The Attig Law Firm also offers a full-range of miscellaneous, unbundled services such as drafting demand letters, representing you in mediation, reviewing non-compete and non-disclosure agreements, negotiating vendor contracts agreements, risk management analysis and on-site consultations and investigations. It is our aim to make our unbundled services available to you at a one-time fixed cost.
