Federal Employee Representation

Every day, Federal employees are wrongfully disciplined, suspended and removed. Yet, there is a genuine shortage of attorneys who are capable of and willing to represent Federal employees in their claims against their employer.

Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB)

Mr. Attig has substantial experience before the MSPB and represents federal employees in their claims before the Board. The MSPB is charged with protecting the integrity of the Federal merit system and the rights of Federal employees.

The Board adjudicates federal employees' appeals of performance and conduct removals, suspensions, reductions in grade or pay, furloughs, reductions-in-force actions, OPM determinations in some retirement matters, denials of restoration or reemployment rights, whistleblower reprisal claims, and terminations of probationary employees under certain circumstances.

The Attig Law Firm represents Federal Employees for the following types of actions:

Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)

The EEOC is charged with enforcing many anti-discrimination laws. Attig Law Firm represents federal employees in the following administrative claims before the EEOC:

  • Reprisal and retaliation claims

Office of Workers'Compensation Programs (OWCP)

Attig Law Firm represents current and former federal employees in their claims before the OWCP. The Office of Workers' Compensation Programs administers compensation programs which provide wage replacement benefits, medical treatment, vocational rehabilitation and other benefits to certain federal workers who experience work-related injury or occupational disease.
