Many Veterans ask me for help in preparing a VA Claim.

I’ve looked at hundreds – if not thousands – of VA claims and C-Files.

One thing I have noticed is that there is a clear pattern in what claims get granted and which do not get granted. There is a clear pattern in which claims are decided more quickly, and there is a pattern in which claims are decided more satisfactorily.

And Here’s the Secret to Preparing a VA Claim:

The VA tends to work those cases first that are the easiest to work.

Claims that have well-written and persuasive arguments  are cleaner, easier to understand, and tend to get decisions a lot quicker  than claims that do not have clear writing.

Why?

It’s Human Nature.  If something is easier to read, it often makes more sense.

When something makes more sense, it’s easier to take action.

Everyone that has Seen this Presentation has said “WOW!”

I gave this presentation to a group of Veterans in the Fall of 2013.

One of the Vets – he was struggling to find work – said this to me: “This class was amazing – I can use these tips in preparing job applications, too.”

I told a group of female Veterans about the  Video in July 2014 – and they all said “WOW – where do we get a copy?!”

Right now, this video is in its absolute final stages of editing.

Would really like to help my father who was drafted with epilepsy clearly makes yes by doctor then scratched out and marked NO!!!

Now he suffers from this debilitating seizure disorder. He served in peace-time which has always prevented him from getting pension/compensation!!!!

    Please advise

      Archie,

I don’t give legal advice on the Veterans Law Blog. If you would like legal advice you should request a consultation.

I will say that peacetime service doesn’t disqualify one from disability compensation – check out this post to learn the difference.

You shouldn’t need a lawyer to simply add a dependent to an existing VA disability account. I have received VA disability for 5 years already and just want to add a dependent. Who do I have to sue to get this done? I filed over a year ago.
