Last week, I released a new eBook: 5 Paths to VA Disability Service Connection.
(We release 2-5 new eBooks each month: if you follow the Attig Law Firm on Twitter, you will find out about these new releases first.)
It is my experience that most Veterans throw around the word “service-connection” without a clear understanding of what it means.
Frankly, I’m not too sure that the VA, the BVA and the CAVC all have the same understanding of what it means.
In this book, I give a general overview of the 5 major legal theories on which a claim for disability compensation can be based:
1) Direct Service Connection
2) Secondary Service-Connection
3) Service Connection by Aggravation
4) Service Connection by Legal Presumption
5) Service Connection due to VA Medical Negligence.
If you want a basic understanding of the 5 common paths to proving a “nexus” between your military service and your current disability/injury/illness, then this eBook is for you.
If you download the eBook 5 Paths to Service Connection, and find it helpful, let me know in the comment section below. If there are ways that I can improve it, let me know that too!
Be sure to check out the other eBooks over at Veterans University
