Attig Law Firm, PLLCVeterans' Benefits AttorneyIf you are visiting this site, you have a question about your VA Benefits - most likely, your VA Disability Benefits. I've looked around at a lot of websites, and all of them have the same generic information. We are trying to make this website more useful to Veterans seeking information about their claims. To do this, we need your help. If you think that there is specific information that every veteran can use in making a VA Benefits claim, email the Attig Law Firm, PLLC, by clicking here .
Earlier this year, in a conversation with some fellow veterans, I learned how so many soldiers had been injured while in the service but were denied benefits - or just got lost in the complex maze that is the VA claim process. As a former Army Officer, I was very disappointed to learn that those who put it all on the line for their country seemed to be getting kicked to the curb when they returned home. A short while later, I heard a Veterans' advocate say that there were less than 300 attorneys in the United States who assist Veterans in their benefits claims. While I have not been able to confirm this figure, I also haven't been able to find many attorneys in my own state, Texas, who assist Veterans in their claims for benefits. For many years, Veterans have not been allowed to retain legal counsel in their claims for disability benefits for service connected injuries until they reached a certain late stage in the process. In June 2007, the laws were change, allowing more benefits more access to legal counsel of their choice. The bottom line is this - this Firm has entered the arena and begun to fight on behalf of those who fought for us. If you are a U.S. Military Veteran, and have a disability that is connected to your time in service, or that has been denied benefits before the VA, contact the Attig Law Firm today for a free consultation.
We will represent Veterans from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Frequently Asked Questions (Return to top)
We've looked at the web sites for several Veterans' Benefits Attorneys, and noticed one thing. They all look the same. We're working on our Frequently Asked Questions portion and will post it shortly. Our goal is to offer questions and answers that provide a more information than other websites. If you are looking for an attorney, you probably already know the basics of the process, and we don't want to waste your time and our space telling you what you probably already know.
We hope to provide substantial information to Veterans, both in our FAQ and in our Blog. One of the most important values of our Firm is that "Information is Power" - we want you, the Veteran, to have more power, whether you retain our Firm or not. When the VA considers your claim, they have volumes and volumes of cases, rule-books, institutional experience and unlimited legal counsel at their fingertips. What do you have? Hopefully, this website will help to even the scales just a little bit, so that you, the Veteran, can secure the benefits you deserve.
It is important to note that this website and this blog are not meant to be legal advice - they are meant to give you, the Veteran, information and education. Nothing can take the place of competent legal advice from a VA Benefits Lawyer or a Veterans' Service Organization .
