Attig Law Firm accepting applications for Law Student Internships.

The Attig Law Firm is seeking law students to join our  Spring 2014 Intern Team.

Dates of Internship

Our internship program is designed to provide real hands-on experience in the business and practice of law for 2nd and 3rd year law students.

The Spring 2014 Intern Team will work together from:

January 7, 2014 - April 26, 2014.

Who is eligible to apply?

2Ls and 1st-semester 3Ls.

Is this a Paid Internship?

We'd prefer to get you law school credit for learning how to practice law at the ALF - the Law Firm of the Future.

If not, pay will be commensurate with experience and skill.

The Experience we Offer.

As an intern on the "ALF" Team , you won't be sitting in a cubicle cranking out motions while the partners are out golfing.  You will hit the ground running on day one.

Over the course of a semester, you will gain:

* Knowledge of the structure, process and substance of Veterans Law.

* Actual Experience Reviewing & Evaluating Veterans' Claims Files.

* Experience researching, drafting, and editing  filings before Administrative Tribunals (VA Regional Offices and the Board of Veterans Appeals) & Appellate Courts (Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims).

* Opportunities to attend BVA hearings and hear oral arguments at the CAVC.

* Hands-on experience working with real clients with real problems.

* Immersion Training in Social Media in the Law Firm environment.

* A primer in the business of running a "boutique" law firm in a niche practice area.

* Experience collaborating with a Team of your Peers.
