Texas adds Veterans designation to Driver's License

The State of Texas has just added a Veteran's designation to its Drivers License for qualified veterans.  All you need to do is bring proof of an Honorable Discharge (DD-214) to your DMV office (or mail it in).

Many services in the State of Texas require proof of Veteran Status.  For example, discounts on property taxes and many public services are available to certain veterans. The Veteran's Designation is all the evidence you need to prove your Veteran's status in the State of Texas.
